Wednesday, October 21, 2020: This past weekend witnessed the return of competitive MuayThai action in the western Australian city of Perth. MTGP promotions hosted their first show of 2020 with two WBC MuayThai State championships taking center stage on the show with two new champions crowned.

Tuesday, October 13, 2020: Two WBC MuayThai title fights are set to take place on week’s MuayThai Grand Prix Australia show in Perth, which takes place at the city’s Curtin Stadium on Saturday the 17th of October.

The vacant WBC MuayThai Western Australia super-lightweight title will be on the line when Leo Nguyen from The Pit gym faces off against Tim Mitchell from Legends gym. Tim will be looking to become a two-weight WBC MuayThai State champion, having captured the welterweight title on one of last year’s MTGP Australia’s events.

Saturday, October 3, 2020: Roar Fight Night promotions return for their next event on Saturday the 31st of October with two WBC MuayThai New Zealand national championships set to take place on the show.

Monday, September 28, 2020: The team at the WBC MuayThai Youth Cares program, led by chairperson Jade Bhakdibhumi, held a ‘Safety in Youth MuayThai’ workshop at Bangkok’s Khongsitta gym on Saturday, September 26.

His Majesty The King of Thailand meets with the WBC President Dr. Jose Sulaiman. The historic meeting was held at the King's Palace on 22 November, 2001. Following the meeting the World Boxing Council set about to establish the WBC MUAYTHAI to rate fighters worldwide and sanction world championship events.
