Saturday, September 22nd: Youssef Boughanem, widely regarded as the number one middleweight MuayThai fighter in the world, and current WBC MuayThai middleweight world champion, will defend his coveted 160Lb WBC world championship belt on the upcoming Phoenix Fighting Championship show.

The event takes place on Saturday the 13th of October at the Palace 12 center in Brussels, Belgium.

The man who will challenge ?The Moroccan Terminator? is Thailand?s Kongjak Por-Pao-In, a fighter currently ranked #5 in the WBC middleweight world rankings. Kongjak is a former super-welterweight champion of Bangkok?s famed Rajadamnern stadium and most recently a winner of the 77kgs Toyota championship.

The professional fight records of both elite fighters are quite impressive: Youssef?s record stands at 206 fights with 179 wins, 25 loses and 3 draws ? whilst Kongjak has fought 204 times, with 174 wins, 23 loses and 7 draws.

Youssef is the current middleweight champion of Bangkok?s Lumpinee stadium and Rajadamnern stadium, and a former champion of Omnoi stadium and Thai Fight. He has beaten the likes of Saiyok Pumpanmuang, Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee, and many more stars from Thailand and around the world.

Kongjak for his part has scored major title victories over Atchariya Tor Chantaroj, Konangsuk Chuwattana, and shared the ring with Kem Sitsongpeenong, Nopparat Kiatkomtan and most recently has been competing up at super-middleweight.
