This past week in the elegant setting of the Fairmont hotel in Kiev ? during the annual WBC convention ? the WBC MuayThai ratified two new key appointments to our team in Europe and the UK.

The year 2019 will see the beginning of WBC MuayThai European titles and for this grand adventure the WBC headed by Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi and some key Bangkok based executives made a delightful decision to appoint Mr. Daniel Suarez as chairman for the newly formed WBC MuayThai committee for Europe.

Daniel?s appointment was one of utmost value and importance as this is a momentous task setting up committees in many various countries, an undertaking which has already seen Mr. Suarez establish WBC MuayThai committees in Cyprus, Ireland, Croatia, France, Spain, Scotland, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal and Finland.

Another key appointment announced at the 2018 WBC annual convention in Kiev was the reintroduction of Mr. Nash Keshwala as the chairman for the WBC MuayThai in England and Wales.

Nash was a founding pillar of the WBC MuayThai back more than a decade ago, and with Daniel Suarez moving his desk to Europe, Nash felt it was a perfect time for him to get back into the game he truly loves: the fighting art of MuayThai, and return to work with his WBC family.

Moreover, Mr. Keshwala and his team plan to carry on the tremendous work by Daniel, as former chairman for this region ? a hotbed for MuayThai activity ? and work towards sanctioning many more WBC national titles as well as coveted WBC MuayThai world contests on British shores.

Both appointments were made effective from October 3rd, 2018 and on behalf of WBC MuayThai Chairman Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman and the entire WBC family we wish both gentleman our best wishes and full support as their endeavor to promote WBC MuayThai activities in their respective regions.
