Amber Kitchen, a young lady with tremendous amounts of pedigree in her surname, a surname famed within MuayThai circles, takes her professional fight career down the WBC path for her next foray into the ring.

That famous last name of course relates to her parents: her mother, former WBC MuayThai welterweight world champion, Julie Kitchen, known as the Queen of MuayThai, a moniker well-earned over a ten-year career fight career, and to be honest one that will take quite sometime, and let?s face it...someone quite special to take that crown from her.

Amber's father, is well known MuayThai trainer Nathan Kitchen, the founder of Touchgloves gym, located on the southeast coast of England, and home to many a champion of the sport of MuayThai, both on a global and national level.

Amber, the 20-year old fighter had her first real taste of MuayThai, and gym life, back when she was only 3-years old, as she and her family lived on the same property which housed the aforementioned TouchGloves gym.

Miss. Kitchen?s career inside the ropes as a teen took her, and her family across the UK competing in junior tournaments, where she amassed quite an array of trophies, medals and championship belts.

At 14-years of age, she won her first youth world title on the Awakening MuayThai series. That success was the start of an on-off relationship with the sport, for the next few years, but now, thankfully she is back to showcase her arsenal of MuayThai weapons on the upcoming AK47 promotion.

That WBC glory mentioned earlier sees the Touchgloves gym fighter challenge for WBC MuayThai domestic honors.

Amber will share the ring on Sunday the 28th of April with Elia Dewu, for the right to be crowned the new WBC MuayThai super-bantamweight champion of England.

The contest with a formidable Elia will be no walk in the park, as she and her team will travel to RedRuth looking to spoil the East Coast party.

In the buildup to the fight Amber stated that she is extremely excited to fight Elia, admires her style, is aware of her strengths and formidability, and is looking to prove her mettle against such a fine caliber of opponent.

On behalf of the entire team at the World Boxing Council, we wish both Amber and Elia the best of luck for their upcoming encounter.
