Thailand’s Singdam Kiatmoo9/Yokkao Saenchai gym shone like a star in Dublin’s fair city — this past weekend — as he captured a coveted and rare piece of WBC glory, when he became only the third male fighter to win a WBC MuayThai Diamond title.

The former multi-time elite Bangkok stadium champion defeated his opponent, Ireland’s Craig Coakley, via a unanimous points decision, to claim the aforementioned super-lightweight Diamond strap.

Singdam now joins an elite club with Buakaw Banchamek and Saenchai PK Saenchai, in winning a prestigious WBC MuayThai Diamond championship Belt.

The contest with Dublin’s Coakley was a pulsating affair, with Singdam using his decades of classy ring guile to kick and evade his way to winning the title, with the young and hungry Irish fighter pushing him all the way over the five action-packed rounds.

On behalf of World Boxing Council President, Mauricio Sulaiman, WBC MuayThai President, Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, and the entire team at the WBC, we would like to congratulate Singdam and his team on capturing his WBC diamond title.
