Monday, June 14, 2021: The WBC MuayThai held an in-depth seminar for ring officials in the Ivorian city of Abidjan, this past weekend, in preparation for next week’s hotly-anticipated 225FightShow.
The importance of training the local ring officials to a high standard is an important component of the continued growth of the sport of MuayThai in the Ivory Coast and the continent of Africa.
Yesterday’s workshop was led by WBC MuayThai Africa Chairman, Hadj Bettahar, himself a vastly experienced ring official, with over thirty years of experience in the sport of MuayThai.
The week ahead is an important milestone for the sport with Saturday’s show where the eyes of the combat world will be on Abidjan with two WBC MuayThai International title fights on the event.
