Tuesday, April 5, 2022: Wonderful to see the Sports Authority of Thailand and the Royal Thai Army sign a Memorandum of Understanding to work together to grow the sport and culture of MuayThai both domestically and Internationally with the assistance of many key stakeholders.

WBC MuayThai Diamond belt champion Buakaw Banchamek was on hand at today’s signing ceremony at the Royal Thai Army headquarters in Bangkok to perform his signature Wai Kru/Ram MuayThai.

Moreover, one of the key objectives of this program is to introduce a standardized and uniformed system of education, safety protocols and rules and regulations governing the sport of MuayThai.

The WBC MuayThai is proud to support this important endeavor and to continue playing a valued role as an ambassador for the sport and culture of MuayThai around the world.
