Sunday, July 3, 2022: Madrid based MuayThai promotion, Union Promotions, hosted a sensational night of MuayThai action last night in Spain’s capital city with the headliner featuring Spanish star Antonio Orden challenging French/Senegalese fighter Samb M’Baye for the WBC MuayThai International featherweight title.
It was to be Antonio’s night as he sealed the victory after five pulsating rounds of action between two young fighters who have both won regional WBC MuayThai titles in recent times. We congratulate Antonio for his victory but we also salute both fighters for putting such a high-level showing of MuayThai fighting skills.
The pre-main event for the show witnessed Marcel González take on Victor Martin for the vacant WBC MuayThai super-welterweight title. Again another showing of finesse and grit inside the MuayThai ring as both Nak Muay left everything inside the squared circle.
Marcelo captured the domestic green & gold glory after a back and forth war of attrition over the fifteen minutes of action.
