Five aspiring professional MuayThai athletes will face off in a MuayThai league to decide who will be crowned the new WBC MuayThai welterweight champion of Afghanistan.

The tournament will be staged over a number of events with the top two qualifying to face off for the right to take home the green and gold glory. The opening stage of the tourney will take place in Kabul on June 11.

The sport of MuayThai in Afghanistan is gathering momentum thanks to continuing endeavors of our representative, Abdul Ghafar Parwar, and the team at the Afghanistan National professional MuayThai federation.
