Next up for the WBC MuayThai is a scintillating matchup for the vacant WBC MuayThai light-heavyweight world title set to take place in Perth, Australia, on June 5.

Scotland’s George Mann will face off against Australia’s Charlie Bubb in one of the most hotly-anticipated contests of the year.

Mann, the current WBC MuayThai super-middleweight International champion, fighting out of Riddlers gym in Perth, is moving up in weight to challenge one the top light-heavyweights in the world, Bubb. Mann goes into this matchup off the back of a sensational run of victories over the past year.

For his part, Bubb, fighting out of Razor MuayThai in Queensland, and the #1 ranked WBC MuayThai light-heavyweight, goes into the world championship showdown with Mann fresh off winning an 8-man tournament in March.

The matchmakers at MuayThai GrandPrix Australia have outdone themselves putting this matchup together between two of the finest 175 pound MuayThai fighters on the International circuit.

On behalf of WBC MuayThai President Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, and the entire WBC MuayThai family, we wish both protagonists the best of luck for the upcoming world title contest — may the best win.
