Last Saturday in Barcelona, the development of MuayThai officiating in Europe took another important step forward as a WBC MuayThai Referee & Judges Seminar (Level 1) was successfully delivered, focusing on the full spectrum of MuayThai rules and officiating standards.
Hosted by Nash Keshwala, the seminar brought together passionate and aspiring officials eager to deepen their understanding of the sport and uphold the high standards expected within WBC MuayThai.

The Level 1 programme provided a structured foundation in officiating, covering essential areas such as scoring criteria, rules application, ring positioning, and the responsibilities of both referees and judges. The seminar emphasized consistency, fairness, and the integrity required to officiate at both national and international levels.
The event was proudly supported by key figures in Spanish MuayThai development, including Amateur Chairman Luis Lloret, National Director Miki Cid, and National Referees Chairman José Alcaide, whose presence highlighted the importance of continued education and unified standards across the country.

This seminar represents another key milestone in strengthening the officiating framework within Spain and across Europe, reinforcing WBC MuayThai’s commitment to education, structure, and excellence in the sport.
