Marlon Mahmoud claimed the WBC Amateur MuayThai German Super-Middleweight Championship following a hard-fought and closely contested victory over fellow German Julius Meinunger at Europes most unique MuayThai Arena – the outdoor Rathenow MuayThai Stadium.
In a competitive contest that showcased the determination, skill, and resilience of both athletes, Mahmoud consistently found success with his technical MuayThai and effective ring control against a spirited challenge from Meinunger.
After five closely contested rounds, all three judges returned identical scorecards of 47-46 in favor of Mahmoud, awarding him a unanimous decision victory and the prestigious national championship title.
Representing Main Gym in Frankfurt, Mahmoud demonstrated composure and championship qualities throughout the bout, earning the biggest victory of his amateur career and securing his place among Germany’s top amateur MuayThai competitors.
The new champion now looks ahead to future opportunities as he begins his reign as WBC Amateur MuayThai German Super-Middleweight Champion.
