The official WBC MuayThai Thailand Youth Team has been unveiled ahead of the upcoming Amazing MuayThai World Festival 2026, set to take place from June 25-29 at Nimibutr Arena in Bangkok.
The team was officially presented at Sitsongpeenong MuayThai Gym, where the athletes have commenced a two-week training camp in preparation for the prestigious international event.
Leading the launch was Major General Thanapol Bhakdibhumi, President of WBC MuayThai, who offered words of encouragement to the young athletes as they prepare to represent their team, family and themselves on the world stage.
The squad consists of fourteen talented youth athletes, including nine male and five female competitors, selected from across the country. The team brings together a mix of experienced young champions and rising stars, all united by the opportunity to compete against the world’s best amateur MuayThai athletes while proudly representing Thailand.
“The Amazing MuayThai World Festival provides a unique opportunity for young athletes to gain international experience, build friendships with competitors from around the world, and showcase the values of MuayThai,” said Major General Thanapol. “We are proud of these young athletes and look forward to seeing them represent Thailand with honor, respect, and sportsmanship.”

As the countdown to the Amazing MuayThai World Festival continues, the WBC MuayThai Thailand Youth Team now turns its full attention to training and preparation, carrying the hopes of a nation and the future of Thai MuayThai into one of the sport’s premier international youth competitions.
