Sunday, December 19, 2021: Togo’s capital city of Lome last played host to the International Fight Night, where the country’s top MuayThai star, Zikpli Adam’s, faced off against Cameroon star Ketchemen Lewis for the vacant WBC MuayThai Africa super-welterweight title.
In a five-round battle of attrition, Zikpli had his hand raised in victory, earning a split points decision victory over his gallant opponent. The home crowd was sent into delirium with the announcement of the result.
The sport of MuayThai is on the rise across the entire continent of Africa with stars like Zikpli at the forefront of the rise of new generation of stars.
The WBC MuayThai would also like to recognize the continued hard work carried out by WBC MuayThai chairman for Africa, Mr. Hadj Bettahar, and all WBC MuayThai representatives in the region.
