Friday, January 21, 2022: Internacional Gym promotions, led by Lluis Loret and his team, will host a night of elite MuayThai action on March 12 in Canovelles, on the outskirts of Barcelona, Spain.
The showpiece encounter will see the vacant WBC MuayThai International super-middleweight title be on the line when Spain’s Mouhcine Chafi faces off against Italy’s Michael Samperi.
The #3 world ranked Chafi versus the #10 world ranked Samperi for the prestigious International title with the winner looking to challenge for the coveted WBC MuayThai world title by the end of the year.
In another Spain versus Italy showdown, Soufian Ben Zerrouk will face off against Nicolo Diomedi for the WBC MuayThai Europe featherweight title in a mouth-watering matchup between two of regions top talents at 126 pounds.
One of Spain’s and Europe’s rising stars of female MuayThai, Paula Silva Fernandez, will square off against French young gun, Zina Bacha, for the WBC MuayThai European under 18 title.
This event will celebrate the legend and father of MuayThai, Nai Khanom Tom, one week before Nai Khanom Tom day on March 17.
