May 29, 2022: Last night witnessed EMP promotions host a sensational night of MuayThai action in Brussels with a host of local, regional, and international MuayThai stars showcasing their talent at the event.
The vacant WBC MuayThai European super-bantamweight title was the highlight contest of the evening’s proceedings with two fine, young talented NAK Muay’s facing off for the right to be crowned the 122 pounds King of European MuayThai.
Local star, Jelte Blommaert, came through a stern battle with French Reunion fighter Romman Papaya to claim the coveted WBC European strap — a victory earned after five hard-fought rounds of MuayThai action.
It was a green & gold night as newly appointed WBC MuayThai Indian Ocean Chairman Thierry Virapol and Luxembourg Chairman Eric Sandsak were both in attendance alongside WBC MuayThai European committee chairman Daniel Suarez.
Congratulations to EMP promoter Omar Senhaji and his team for a great night of action connecting MuayThai aficionados from all parts of Europe.
