Saturday, November 26, 2022: There is no doubting the fact that the Australian shark aka Chadd Collins is back in the big time after capturing the WBC MuayThai super-lightweight world title on tonight’s Rebellion Muay Thai show in Melbourne — defeating Thailand’s YodIQ PK Saenchai via a unanimous points decision to claim the coveted WBC glory.
Congratulations to Chadd, Mark Pease, and all the team at StrikeForce Gym for their success. The judges scored it 48-47, 50-45, and 50-46. It has been a transitional period of time over the past couple of years for Collins, relocating back to Australia after a long stint in Thailand — it’s clear he made a wiseman’s choice in teaming up with the classy and experienced mind of Peasy.
