Bangkok, April 5 — The journey to Verona has officially begun. Team WBC MuayThai Thailand held their first squad training session today at the iconic Sitsongpeenong MuayThai Gym in Bangkok, marking the start of their campaign towards the prestigious WBC World Championships.
Set to take place during the 2025 Amazing MuayThai World Festival from June 25–29 in Verona, Italy, the event promises to be a global celebration of MuayThai sport and culture. The WBC Thai team, made up of both adult and youth fighters, is preparing to make a powerful statement on the international stage.
With a focus on unity, discipline, and national pride, Team WBC MuayThai Thailand is determined to showcase their strength in numbers and elite skills, representing the birthplace of MuayThai with honor and excellence.
This historic occasion is not only a sporting event but also a cultural showcase, uniting the world in appreciation of “The Art of Eight Limbs.”
The squad trained under the watchful eyes of WBC MuayThai President Major General Thanapol Bhakdibhumi and Sitsongpeenong Gym owner, Tim Dharmajiva.
