May 30, 2025 – Singapore – In a significant milestone for the development of MuayThai in the region, Her Excellency Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, officially presented certificates of completion to the WBC MuayThai Ring Officials in Singapore, recognizing their successful participation in the WBC MuayThai Officials Development Program.
The presentation ceremony, held at the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, highlighted the ongoing collaboration between the World Boxing Council MuayThai and the Thai government in promoting MuayThai as a global sport and cultural soft power.
The WBC MuayThai Ring Officials, who have completed an intensive training and assessment program under the supervision of the WBC MuayThai global officiating committee, are now fully certified to oversee WBC-sanctioned events across Singapore and the wider region.
Her Excellency praised the dedication of the newly certified officials and commended the WBC MuayThai for its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of officiating in the sport.
