August 2, 2025: Bangkok, Thailand — Major General Thanapol Bhakdibhumi, President of the WBC MuayThai, awarded special cash prizes to the “WBC MuayThai Thailand Youth Team” in recognition of their outstanding performance at the Amazing MuayThai World Festival 2025, held to commemorate the 157th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Italy.

The prize-giving and celebration event took place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Hungry Brown Restaurant, Phahonyothin Soi 3, Bangkok. General Thanapol Bhakdibhumi hosted the gathering and personally presented the special prizes to the Thai youth athletes, who returned home with 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals (a total of 7 medals) from the international festival held in Verona, Italy, from June 25–29, 2025.

In addition to the special monetary prizes, the athletes are also eligible for undergraduate scholarships from Bangkok Thonburi University and performance bonuses from their respective gyms.

General Thanapol stated:

“This Amazing MuayThai event brought great recognition to the sport of MuayThai. From the international showcase to the historic opening ceremony at the Verona Arena—an ancient Roman coliseum over 2,000 years old—nearly 1,000 participants from 72 countries took part in this global celebration.”

Gold Medalists:

Tawan Chai S. Sirilak (Nonthawat Kaengraengdee), 17 years old Petchmorakot Sit Song Pi Nong (Tachin Jaisawat), 15 years old

Silver Medalists:

Ekpayak T.T. Plubplana Narai (Thanakrit Wichiansamut), 15 years old Charoenlap S. Taklaopan (Dechanan Udomrattanathepkij), 16 years old

Bronze Medalists:

Khwankhao Lukphorseua (Pornkamon Thongphuak), Female, 18 years old Phetthae Kiattiburin (Teerathawat Ramprakon), 19 years old Thanthap Akkhathawa (Rafa Akkhathawa), 14 years old

Special awards were also presented to three coaches:
