New Zealand fight fans were treated to an action-packed weekend of MuayThai action, with four new WBC MuayThai Amateur champions and one inaugural professional female champion crowned across two major events in Auckland and Hamilton.

Friday Night – Art of War, Auckland
Promoted by Tony Angelov, the Art of War card delivered high-level contests and dramatic title moments.
Ben Karam (Jackals Gym) captured the WBC MuayThai Interim Amateur Super Lightweight title via unanimous decision over #4-ranked Andre Fruh, who stepped in on short notice after the reigning champion was injured during fight camp. Rex Cooper successfully defended his WBC MuayThai Amateur Super Welterweight title, defeating #2-ranked Reuben Martin via unanimous decision to become a three-time champion in the division. Cameron Adkin (#1 ranked, City Lee Gar) edged out #2-ranked Quade Samuels in a thrilling bout, taking the WBC MuayThai Amateur title by split decision.

Saturday Night – TMT Showtime, Hamilton
The TMT Showtime promotion, hosted by Claudia Penaranda and Darryl Dawson, continued the momentum with more title drama.
Karaitiana Adams (TIhipuke MuayThai) claimed the WBC MuayThai Amateur Light Heavyweight title with a unanimous decision win over #2-ranked Teratu Mankelow. Bubba Tauria-Bracken (TIhipuke MuayThai) made history by winning the inaugural WBC MuayThai Professional Female Bantamweight title via corner stoppage against #2-ranked Sara Siraj (Beyond Muay Thai).

The back-to-back events showcased the depth of New Zealand’s MuayThai talent pool, with champions from both established gyms and rising camps securing their place in the WBC MuayThai record books.
