Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall played host to an exciting night of MuayThai action as Yoshiro Tsuzaki claimed the WBC MuayThai Japan Super Welterweight Title with a hard-fought split decision victory over former champion Masa Yamato.

The judges’ scorecards read 48–47, 48–47, and 47–48, giving Tsuzaki a narrow 2–1 win and marking the beginning of his reign as champion.

The triumph carried extra significance for Tsuzaki, who avenged a painful loss from four years ago when he was stopped by Masashi Yamato via knockout. This time, Tsuzaki showcased his resilience, technical ability, and determination to secure championship gold.

With this victory, Yoshiro Tsuzaki not only captured the prestigious WBC MuayThai Japan title but also proved his growth as a fighter, closing a chapter from the past and writing a new one as national champion.
