Tokyo, Japan – At Korakuen Hall on October 12th, during the “KNOCK OUT.58” event, Issei from Saenchai Gym claimed the WBC MuayThai Japan Super Bantamweight Championship, defeating #2-ranked Banna by unanimous decision (48–46 x3).

The highly anticipated contest between two southpaw fighters began with a measured first round, as both athletes studied each other’s rhythm. In the latter half of the round, Banna pressed forward with sharp punches to the body, while Issei countered with precise middle kicks to regain control.

The momentum shifted in the second round as Issei continued to dominate with powerful middle kicks. Banna attempted to turn the tide with a barrage of punches, but Issei effectively countered with well-timed elbow strikes that left a visible impact.

In the third round, Banna rallied with aggressive punches and elbows, briefly dropping Issei with a counter left. However, Issei recovered strongly, maintaining composure and rhythm through superior technique, clinching, and knee attacks.

By the final bell, Issei’s consistent use of traditional MuayThai weapons—middle kicks, elbows, and knees—proved decisive, earning him a unanimous victory and the prestigious WBC MuayThai Japan Super Bantamweight title.
