Japan’s Homura Abe delivered a commanding performance to successfully defend his WBC MuayThai World Minimumweight title for the first time, securing a decisive second-round TKO victory over Thailand’s Yodmanee SuanJakCafe.

The bout took place at the BOM MuayThai event in Yokohama on April 5, where Abe showcased sharp technique and relentless pressure from the opening bell. Demonstrating his growing confidence as a world champion, Abe controlled the pace early, systematically breaking down his opponent with precision strikes and well-timed combinations.

The end came in the second round at 1 minute and 52 seconds, as Abe’s sustained offense proved too much for Yodmanee to withstand, prompting the referee to step in and halt the contest.

With this emphatic victory, Abe not only secures his first successful title defense but further establishes himself as a rising force in the minimumweight division on the global MuayThai stage.
