May 16, 2025: Germany’s Linda Faysal captured the WBC MuayThai International Featherweight championship with a unanimous points victory over American fighter Jenny Freitas at the Rising MuayThai event in Bonn, Germany.
In front of an enthusiastic crowd, Faysal delivered a composed and technically strong performance across all rounds to secure the prestigious international championship. The German athlete showcased excellent ring control, sharp striking, and consistent pressure throughout the contest against the determined Freitas, who represented the United States with courage and resilience.
All three judges scored the bout in favour of Faysal by identical scores of 49-46, confirming a unanimous decision victory and crowning her the new WBC MuayThai International Featherweight champion.
The championship contest was part of the successful Rising MuayThai promotion held in Bonn, Germany, further highlighting the continued growth and development of MuayThai throughout Europe.
