THE 2026 AMAZING MUAYTHAI WORLD FESTIVAL

Bangkok, Thailand | June 25–29, 2026

The world’s largest international MuayThai festival returned to Bangkok with record participation and unforgettable competition.

Hosted at Nimibutr Arena, with the spectacular Opening Ceremony at the legendary Rajadamnern Stadium, the festival welcomed athletes, coaches, officials and supporters from around the globe for five days celebrating the Art of Eight Limbs.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT

The Amazing MuayThai World Festival concluded with a spectacular evening of world-class championship action at Rajadamnern Stadium.

WBC MuayThai Light Flyweight World Championship

Australia’s Kim Townsend defended her world championship against Switzerland’s Aline Seiberth in an exciting contest showcasing elite women’s MuayThai.


WBC MuayThai Super Featherweight World Championship

Two outstanding international athletes battled for world championship glory to close an unforgettable week of competition.


WBC MUAYTHAI AROUND THE WORLD

Spain

Spain’s Alex Usieto successfully defended the WBC MuayThai Super Bantamweight World Championship after stopping Morocco’s Abdelmalik Lazizi via fourth-round TKO in Barcelona.


England

England’s Finlay Smith captured the prestigious WBC MuayThai Nai Khanom Tom International Prestige Championship with a devastating first-round knockout victory over Brazil’s Davi Beznos.

A perfectly placed left hand to the body followed by a crushing step-up knee ended the contest in spectacular fashion.


Indonesia

Indonesia continued its impressive growth in international MuayThai with successful WBC MuayThai championship activity and athlete development throughout the month.


Australia

Kim Townsend proudly represented Australia on the world stage during the Amazing MuayThai World Festival, further highlighting the continued rise of elite female MuayThai worldwide.


THAILAND YOUTH NATIONAL TEAM

Ahead of the Amazing MuayThai World Festival, WBC MuayThai proudly introduced the Thailand Youth National Team.

Following an intensive training camp, Thailand’s young athletes proudly represented their country on home soil, displaying outstanding sportsmanship, skill and respect throughout the championships.

The future of MuayThai has never looked brighter.


DIGITAL ATHLETE ID LAUNCHED

One of the biggest innovations unveiled during the festival was the official launch of the Digital Athlete ID.

Developed through the partnership between WBC MuayThai and Mingo, the Digital Athlete ID provides secure athlete verification while streamlining registration, accreditation and future international participation.

This represents another important step towards the digital future of MuayThai.


NEW MEDIA PARTNERSHIP

WBC MUAYTHAI × ARWUT FIGHT GEAR

June also saw the announcement of an exciting new media partnership between WBC MuayThai and Arwut Fight Gear.

Together, both organisations will collaborate to produce:

Preparations continued throughout June for the Amazing MuayThai European Festival, taking place in Sardinia, Italy, from October 15–18, 2026.

Highlights will include:
