Korakuen Hall in Tokyo played host to another memorable evening of WBC MuayThai action on August 2, 2026, as Knockout Promotion staged four WBC MuayThai Japan National Championship bouts as part of a fantastic day for the sport in Japan, which also featured a WBC MuayThai World Championship.
In the WBC MuayThai Japan Flyweight Championship, reigning champion Raina Watabe delivered a commanding performance to successfully defend his title for the first time against the determined Haruyuki Tanitsu.
From the opening bell, Watabe established control with sharp technique, relentless pressure, and precise timing. Throughout the contest, he consistently found his target with powerful elbows and accurate punches, gradually breaking down the challenger.
