Kaito Fukuda produced a remarkable comeback to become the new WBC MuayThai Japan Featherweight Champion after defeating Kenichi Takeuchi by second-round knockout at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on August 2.
The championship bout got off to a dramatic start when Fukuda was sent to the canvas in the opening round after absorbing a perfectly timed knee to the head. Despite the early setback, the challenger showed tremendous composure and resilience, returning for the second round determined to turn the fight around.

Fukuda quickly seized the momentum, launching a relentless offensive with accurate and powerful punch combinations that overwhelmed the defending champion. Unable to withstand the sustained attack, Takeuchi was forced into trouble before the referee stepped in to stop the contest at 1:18 of the second round, crowning Fukuda the new WBC MuayThai Japan Featherweight Champion.
The victory marks a significant milestone in Fukuda’s career. Having honed his skills in Thailand from a very young age, his years of dedication to authentic MuayThai have culminated in capturing the prestigious Green and Gold WBC MuayThai championship belt.

Congratulations to Kaito Fukuda on an outstanding performance and on becoming the new WBC MuayThai Japan Featherweight Champion.
