Damon Maireroa is the new WBC Amateur MuayThai New Zealand Super-Middleweight Champion after emerging victorious from a chaotic and action-packed battle with Kees Verheyen at the Art of War MuayThai event in Auckland.
The championship contest developed into an intense back-and-forth encounter, with both athletes showing tremendous toughness, determination and fighting spirit as they battled for the prestigious WBC green and gold title.
