WBC MuayThai is pleased to announce two important leadership appointments in Cyprus as part of the organisation’s continued development of MuayThai at professional, amateur and youth levels.

Ioannis Assiotis has been appointed as the new Chairman of WBC MuayThai Professional Activities in Cyprus.

In his new role, Mr. Assiotis will oversee the development and coordination of WBC MuayThai professional activities throughout Cyprus, working to strengthen opportunities for athletes, promoters, gyms and officials while ensuring that WBC MuayThai standards, regulations and values are maintained.

Costas Christodoulou has been appointed as the new Chairman of WBC Amateur & Youth MuayThai Activities in Cyprus.

Mr. Christodoulou will lead the continued growth of amateur and youth MuayThai across the country, with a strong emphasis on athlete development, education, safety and creating clear pathways for the next generation of Cypriot MuayThai athletes.

Cyprus has a passionate and developing MuayThai community, and WBC MuayThai looks forward to supporting both chairmen as they work with local gyms, athletes, trainers, promoters and officials to expand opportunities and build a strong and sustainable future for the sport.
