Poland’s Tomasz Utczinski reached the summit of the heavyweight division in Glasgow, defeating reigning champion Gerardo Atti in the main event of the HungrySide show to capture the prestigious WBC MuayThai Heavyweight World Championship.
Utczinski produced a commanding performance across five rounds, showing composure, determination and quality on the biggest night of his career.
After the final bell, the judges returned scores of 48–47, 49–46 and 49–46, confirming Utczinski as the new king of the WBC MuayThai heavyweight division.
For the Polish heavyweight, it represents the culmination of a remarkable journey to the very top of the sport. Years of hard work and perseverance have now been rewarded with the famous green and gold belt and the title of WBC MuayThai World Champion.
