Representing Minas Gerais, Gustavo “El Tripa” delivered a standout performance to secure the Amateur Elite 57 kg title.

In a fiercely contested and highly strategic matchup, he overcame São Paulo’s talented Ton Lírio, demonstrating sharp technique, composure, and championship-level determination.

Gustavo now becomes the first WBC Amateur MuayThai Brazil champion in the 57 kg category—a landmark achievement for both himself and his state.

Amateur Elite 71 KG – Brian Gualberto Carvalho Claims the Crown

In the Amateur Elite 71 kg division, Rio Grande do Sul’s own Brian Gualberto Carvalho rose to glory after defeating Minas Gerais athlete Henrique “Soldado.”

Their bout was a technically rich battle between two highly skilled fighters, with Brian’s superior timing and precision earning him the victory.

He now enters the history books as the first WBC Amateur MuayThai Brazil champion in the 71 kg class.

Female Amateur Elite 48 KG – Pamela Sales Shines

The women’s division brought its own moment of brilliance as Paraíba fighter Pamela Sales captured the Female Amateur Elite 48 kg title.

Displaying speed, accuracy, and tremendous courage, she defeated the talented Letícia Sena from Minas Gerais to secure the championship. Pamela becomes the first female WBC Amateur MuayThai Brazil champion in this category, marking a significant milestone for women’s MuayThai in the country.
